  Update: After trying for over a year to get their field sales rep to come and get us a newer larger gas tank with a gauge on it, and a new on - demand water heater, set up, I had to call and complain. I did try several times to call him, left messages upon messages. After the complaint I finally got the office manager to call him and get on him. He called and scheduled a visit, and said he'd get the quote back in a couple of days. I mentioned to him that we were nearly empty on gas, so that I'd like to know if I should schedule a delivery or wait for the new tank. He said he'd have the quote and paperwork by Friday, this was a Tuesday. 3 weeks later now, still nothing back and no replacement tank, and guess what. We just ran out of gas. If you can find a better company than Sawyer/Amerigas, do it. If there isn't one that will do your delivery, be prepared for a fight if you need to change anything.
  (PS.. our field service guy is awesome, he's pleasant, he's thorough, he's nice and gives great advice, and even he said that it wasn't much fun working there any more, but he did an excellent job with installing my new dryer, and was extremely patient with my questions-always. Wish he'd go to a different company so I could keep him.)
  
  I called with a "newbie" question right after we moved into our new home and we were smelling "gas" smells. The lady who took my call was very, very nice, we updated the residence account information, and she suggested that we have some one come out to assess the information. The field person was very knowledgeable, determined that the problem was just the normal "tank is nearly empty" smell. He took the time to explain the issue, how to determine when my tank was getting toward empty, and then after replacing the empty, checked the lines to ensure there were no leaks. I really am looking forward to a long term relationship with the Hampton Sawyer Gas office and staff.
